How it works and safety

The rules are short, and they're the same for every doctor.

Everything here is how Klindr already works: who can book, what a booking means, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Getting verified

Every account is checked by a person. What you can do grows with each check.

  1. Account and email

Name, email and password, then a 6-digit code to confirm the email is yours.

    You can browse clinics
  2. National ID and a selfie

Our team will review your documents. Check Verification for the result. Other doctors never see them; only our reviewers do.

    You can list a clinic
  3. Membership card and specialty

Your membership number, specialty and a photo of your Medical Syndicate membership card, reviewed together.

    You can book shifts

A shift, start to finish

Every shift is four hours: morning 10:00–14:00, afternoon 14:30–18:30 or evening 19:00–23:00, Cairo time, with a 30-minute break between shifts. You can book ahead as far as the clinic's calendar shows.

  1. You bookConfirmed at once. Nobody else can take that shift.
  2. Until 24 hours beforeEither side can cancel free. After that, it's locked in.
  3. The shiftFour hours with your patients, under the house rules.
  4. Pay in cashTo the owner at the clinic. The owner marks it paid.
  5. Review each otherRenter rates the clinic, owner rates the renter.

Weekly shifts

Book the same shift on the same weekday for 2 to 12 weeks in one go. Each week is its own booking, so payment, cancelling and reviews work week by week.

  • Weeks that aren't open are skipped, and you see which ones before you book.
  • Cancel one week, or all remaining weeks that are more than 24 hours away.
  • We remind you before your weekly shifts run out, so you can extend them.
Example: every Monday · Morning · 4 weeks
  • 2 NovBooked
  • 9 NovBooked
  • 16 NovSkipped
  • 23 NovBooked
3 of 4 weeks booked · EGP 1,200 in total, paid week by week

No-shows and disputes

If a doctor doesn't come or doesn't pay, the owner can report it. The doctor can dispute the report within 7 days, and a person at Klindr decides.

  1. OWNERReports a no-showFrom the start of the shift until 7 days after it.
  2. RENTERCan dispute it onceWithin 7 days, explaining what happened. The owner sees it.
  3. KLINDRKeeps or overturns itBoth sides see the outcome and any note. An overturned report no longer counts.

Reports that stand show on the doctor's profile as a no-show count, so owners can decide with the full picture.

  • Cash between doctors

You pay the owner in cash at the clinic. Klindr never processes or holds booking money.

  • No commission

Owners keep the full price of every booking. A booking keeps the price it was made at.

  • Plans only for listing

Booking shifts is free. Owners pay a monthly plan to list clinics.
